Fiona Feng recently attained her AMEB Grade 8 in Violin with High Distinction. She has performed at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she is also a scholarship piano student in the Rising Stars Program. Fiona has participated in the Sydney Youth Orchestra Summer School and has won multiple prizes in the Ryde Eisteddfod.
Aurelia Bergin attends PLC Sydney with a Music Scholarship, where she plays both violin and drum kit in their orchestras and bands. In 2017 Aurelia was voted Music Captain of her school and in 2018 was awarded a High Distinction for AMEB Grade 7 Violin exam. Aurelia has performed at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and recently attended the Zhang Violin Summer School. She has also studied jazz on the drum kit since the age of 8.
Christina Kwok started playing the violin at the age of 5 and completed her AMEB LMusA Diploma last year. She has received prizes and high commendations in many Eisteddfods including the Sydney Eisteddfod. Christina was previously a member of the Sydney Conservatorium Rising Stars program. She attends Arden Anglican School on a full music and academic scholarship and her favourite types of music are those from the 19th Century.
Klaus Leung is a Year 12 student at Baulkham Hills High School. Born and raised in Melbourne, Klaus began learning the violin at the age of 4, with the Suzuki method. At age 10, he sat his first AMEB Violin exam attaining a High Distinction in Grade 8. Since moving to Sydney 3 years ago Klaus has joined the Kuringai Youth Orchestra and attended Australian Chamber Orchestra Workshops. Last year Klaus was a member of the Australian Chamber Orchestra Academy and was chosen to perform in an AUSTA (NSW) Masterclass with Dr. Robin Wilson.
Catherine Davis was educated at the Conservatorium High in Sydney and the Royal Academy of Music, London, where she won all the major piano and accompaniment prizes, culminating in the Recital Diploma.
Since returning to Australia, she took up a full-time Lectureship at the University of Newcastle and, since 1999, has freelanced in Sydney where she is regularly employed by the Sydney Conservatorium, Cantillation Choir, Opera Australia Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Sydney Symphony, Sydney Lyric Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony, Trackdown Scoring Stage in the capacity of both orchestral pianist/celeste/synth player and audition pianist.
Catherine has performed concerti with the Melbourne and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras on a number of occasions. Recent highlights have been sharing the stage with violinists Julian Rachlin and Maxim Vengerov as well as the newly appointed Principal Horn of the Berlin Philharmonic, David Cooper. 2018 includes further work with ACO, SSO and Sydney Conservatorium as well as recitals with her piano duo partner Siang-Ching Ngu.
