From The Sydney Organ Journal (Winter 2012), Peter Jewkes writes:

This instrument contains work by several builders including Gray & Davison, William Hill, S T Noad (1953), and was last rebuilt by Arthur Jones in 1976. In recent years it had become very unreliable, with severe problems from dumb notes. Recent work has included replacement of the electric action throughout. The console was returned to the Jewkes Works and completely restored, with replacement of innumerable faulty contacts and other worn electrical equipment. A new solid state notes switching system was installed, along with a simple piston capture system. The organ's several hundred leather purses operating its cone-pallet soundboards were also renewed.
