The Open Section of the Sydney Organ Competition has unfortunately been cancelled due to an insufficient number of competitors reaching the Final round.
However, the Organ Music Society of Sydney is proud to announce that Paul Jacobs (Chairman of the Organ Department, Juilliard School of Music, New York) will be presenting a recital/lecture in its place. Paul Jacobs is an amazing performer, and he’s warm and friendly personality will make this recital/lecture one not to be missed.

6.30pm at Marrickville Town Hall where we shall hear and play the 2/11 Wurlitzer theatre organ.
The hall will be open from 6.30 pm and the organ will be playable but, at 7.30 pm, it is expected that there will be a short demonstration which will be followed by a further open console session and general bonhomie.
