The 2017 annual Wesley Mission fundraiser this year shall take place on Thursday @ 6 pm September 28 with David Bailey accompanying classic comedies on the mighty Christie theatre organ. The venue is the Wesley Theatre at 220 Pitt Street in the city across from the Hilton Hotel and near the Sydney Town Hall.
The film? The incomparable Buster Keaton, in the 100th year since his film debut in 1917, with the sublime comedy, Steamboat Bill Jr. (1928) 70 minutes.
Ticket prices are $25/ $20. Ticket prices include light refreshments from 5 pm before the show: tea/coffee/ cakes, slices and biscuits.
The fundraiser is to support the Wesley Edward Eagar Lodge.
