Sounds of a Lost Organ (Reimer Virtual Pipe Organ based on the St Barnabas' Broadway Hill & Son organ)
All was not lost when the 1879 Hill organ in St Barnabas Broadway was razed in a fire on 10 May, 2006. The organ, whose pipes were sampled weeks before it was destroyed, has been "superimposed" on an older Hill. Come to hear the virtual pipe organ at St George's Anglican Church (cnr St George's Parade and Minnamorra Avenue), Earlwood. After a demonstration of the instrument there will be an opportunity for members to have a play in an open console session.
Cover charge: $5 which includes afternoon tea. Bus routes 412 and 423.
