Dinner with guests of honour - Colin Andrews and Janette Fishell.
Tuesday 10th May, 7pm for 7:30 pm
On Tuesday 10th May, Janette Fishell and Colin Andrews will be giving a duo recital at Sydney Town Hall. They are well known to some of us from previous visits to Australia, and for their performances in the United States and the UK. They will be the Society's guests at dinner on the same evening.
Please, come and join us to meet them and enjoy a splendid meal.A booking has been made at Restaurant Thirteen at 13 Hayes St, Neutral Bay for 7.30 pm on Tuesday 10th May 2011. If we have 20 or more people we can have the restaurant to ourselves.
Some of us have been to this restaurant before and can recommend it highly. You can find out more about it at www.eatout-sydney.com.au, if you search under 'restaurant thirteen'. Entrees are priced from $19, mains from $32 to $35 and desserts are $15. There will be three selections for each course, and you may choose to have only tow of the three courses. The food is 'modern Australian with French and Italian influence'. It's BYO with a $3 corkage charge.
Please pay the restaurant directly on the night (they accept major credit cards), but we ask you to make a contribution of $5 each towards the cost of our guests, to be paid to Hugh Knight.
Hayes Street runs off Kurraba Rd down to the Neutral Bay ferry wharf. Number 13 is on the left just past Lower Wycombe Avenue, and street parking should be available nearby.
Would you notify Hugh Knight by Monday 2nd May if you (plus partner, if applicable) are coming, so we can confirm with the restaurant.
