The works to be performed are five Handel
organ concertos known as
the "Second Set" of 1740 and transcribed from the Op.
6 Concerti
Grossi. Two of these, reconstructed by Ralph Schureck, are to
be
accompanied by Strings, Oboes, Bassoon and Harpsichord continuo.
Of
the three remaining concertos, one is for Harpsichord solo and
two
for organ solo.
Soloists: Pastor de Lasala (Organ), Rosalind Halton (Harpsichord)
PS The organ is by Hill and is in a private
residence.
