The works to be performed are five Handelorgan concertos known as
the "Second Set" of 1740 and transcribed from the Op.6 Concerti
Grossi. Two of these, reconstructed by Ralph Schureck, are tobe
accompanied by Strings, Oboes, Bassoon and Harpsichord continuo.Of
the three remaining concertos, one is for Harpsichord solo andtwo
for organ solo.

Soloists: Pastor de Lasala (Organ), RosalindHalton (Harpsichord)

PS The organ is by Hill and is in a privateresidence.

A Book of Common Prayer Evensong (choral+ sermon) will be trialed for 12 months on the third Sunday ofthe month at 3pm. This will be followed by an organ recital/orchestralconcert at 4pm.
